Iron Ranger History
THE IRON RANGER draws inspiration from the archival silhouette originally introduced in 1937. Crafted for iron miners in the Mesabi Iron Range of Minnesota, the 6-inch boot included an added layer of leather across the toe to protect feet from falling rocks and rugged terrain. Speed hooks offered fast lacing for easy on and off. The leather insole provided comfort once uniquely formed to the foot over time.
Moc Toe History
FIRST INTRODUCED IN 1952, the 877 8-inch Classic Moc was designed for sportspeople in mind; earning the name “Irish Setter” from the unique russet leather color that matched the coat of a hunter’s companion. The tall height protected ankles against wooded areas and the cushioned outsole softened noise on every step.
