Red Wing 8213 Norway Moc Copper Rough & Tough Scotch-Grain.
THE NORWAY MOC – DEVELOPED FOR THE DEMANDS OF COLD CLIMATES
Designed in Minnesota and originally developed as a winter boot for customers in Norway – a country with which Red Wing has a long tradition – this boot was specifically conceived for the challenges of cold climates. Subtle enhancements improve both comfort and functionality.
A padded shaft collar and the breathable Dri-Brelle canvas lining ensure balanced warmth and moisture management. The removable, felt-covered footbed provides additional comfort with every step.
The new, Scotch-Grain embossed Copper Rough & Tough leather is four times more water-repellent than the previous version, while the Vibram® Fire & Ice Lug outsole was specially developed to ensure high comfort and excellent traction even under demanding winter conditions.
Underfoot, a new removable felted wool footbed provides pleasant warmth and high comfort. The full-length, foam-padded Dri-Brelle interior lining reduces friction and further increases wearing comfort.
The Norway Moc stands for first-class craftsmanship, uncompromising performance in cold weather, and the ambition to confidently master winter anywhere in the world.
The Vibram® Fire & Ice Lug Outsole
The Vibram® Lug outsole was first launched by Vibram® in 1961 and adopted by Red Wing Shoes in the same year to ensure reliable traction under demanding working conditions.
The modern evolution of this outsole – the Vibram® Fire & Ice Lug Outsole – was specifically developed for use in extreme winter conditions. It offers high walking comfort even at icy temperatures down to –23 °C and at the same time ensures excellent grip on wet, snowy, and icy surfaces.
